HbA1c Test

HbA1c Test

HbA1c is a blood test that shows if you are at risk of developing diabetes or have diabetes. In the Clinic, we undertake a finger prick test and will be able to provide you with the result within five minutes.

Cholesterol Test

Cholesterol Test

A cholesterol test (lipid screen) measures the total cholesterol, good cholesterol (called HDL), and the not-so-good cholesterol (called LDL) and other types of fat, in your blood. This can help assess the degree of risk of suffering a heart attack or stroke. In the clinic we undertake a finger prick test and will be able to provide you with the result within five minutes.

Hearing Test

Hearing Test

A hearing test (audiometry) uses the most up-to-date equipment in a specially designed sound booth to test hearing. We will discuss your results, and they will also be provided via e-mail or printed, and comply with health and safety executive standards. The test lasts about 15 minutes and all test results will be further reviewed by our occupational health qualified doctor.

Body Composition Analysis

Body Composition Analysis

This test allows you to better understand the make-up of your body. The test simply requires you to stand on a specialised scale and calculator for several minutes. Typically, it will show your height, weight, BMI, your recommended daily calorie intake and the percentage of your body made up of muscle, fat and water.

Lung Function Test

Lung Function Test

A lung function test (spirometry) assesses how well your lungs are working. It measures how much air you inhale, how much you exhale and how quickly you exhale. This test is useful for diagnosis of asthma, COPD and other lung diseases such as pulmonary fibrosis. We will discuss your results, and they will also be provided via e-mail or printed, and comply with health and safety executive standards. The test lasts about 15 minutes and all test results will be further reviewed by our occupational health qualified doctor.

Atrial Fibrillation

Atrial Fibrillation

Atrial Fibrillation is a condition that can cause an irregular, and often abnormally fast, heart rate. To test for this, we will simply ask you to place a finger from each hand on a small device (called a Kardiomobile) for 30 seconds, which will record a 30-second-high quality ECG recording.

Blood Oxygen Saturation

Blood Oxygen Saturation

This test can be used to detect whether you have a lung or other condition. We will simply place a probe on your finger or ear lobe (this process is painless). After one minute we will be able to record your level.
