HbA1c is a blood test that shows if you are at risk of developing diabetes or have diabetes. In the Clinic, we undertake a finger prick test and will be able to provide you with the result within five minutes.

Cholesterol Test
A cholesterol test (lipid screen) measures the total cholesterol, good cholesterol (called HDL), and the not-so-good cholesterol (called LDL) and other types of fat, in your blood. This can help assess the degree of risk of suffering a heart attack or stroke. In the clinic we undertake a finger prick test and will be able to provide you with the result within five minutes.

Hearing Test
A hearing test (audiometry) uses the most up-to-date equipment in a specially designed sound booth to test hearing. We will discuss the result, after which the results will also be provided via e-mail or printed form, and comply with health and safety executive standards. The test lasts about 15 minutes and all test results will be further reviewed by our occupational health qualified doctor.

Lung Function Test
A lung function test (spirometry) assesses how well your lungs are working. It measures how much air you inhale, how much you exhale and how quickly you exhale. This test is useful for diagnosis of asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and other lung diseases such as pulmonary fibrosis. We will discuss the result, after which the results will also be provided via e-mail or printed form, and comply with health and safety executive standards.
